Using ezDone

We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use ezDone on devices you own or control, for your own personal or work documents. You may not copy, modify, resell or reverse engineer the app.

ezDone Pro

• Scanning, editing and organizing are free. Your first 2 exports are free; ezDone Pro unlocks unlimited exports, sharing and text copying.
• Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is taken by Apple or Google when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewals are charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• A free trial, where offered, becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Canceling stops future renewals, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

Your documents

Your documents belong to you. They are stored on your device and we never receive them, as explained in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the documents you scan, sign and share, and for having the right to do so.

Signatures, redaction and text recognition

• A signature added with ezDone is an image of your signature placed on the document. Whether it is legally binding depends on your country and on the document.
• Redacted areas are permanently blacked out in the files you export. Always check an exported file before you share it.
• Text recognition is automatic and can make mistakes, so check important text against the original.

Keep your own backups

ezDone stores documents only on your device and has no cloud sync. If you delete the app or lose your device, the documents in it are gone. Export anything important and keep your own copies.

Changes to the app and these terms

We may update, change or remove features of ezDone, and we may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app about important changes.

No warranty

ezDone is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we do not promise that it will be free of errors, always available, or suited to your particular needs.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost documents or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for ezDone in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of that country's mandatory consumer laws.
