Seventeen focused tools instead of one heavy editor
Most image jobs are small and specific: make this folder of photos lighter, get this picture under 200 KB, turn these HEIC files into JPG, cut a transparent version of a product shot, build a favicon set from a logo. A full editor can do all of it, slowly, once you find the right menu.
Image Studio splits those jobs into 17 tools that each do one thing well, and every one of them runs in your browser. Photos are decoded, edited and re-encoded on your device, so client work, personal pictures and anything with people in it never leaves your machine.
What the studio covers
Compression comes in two forms: bulk compression for up to 50 files at once, and a target size tool that searches for the best quality under a limit such as 100 KB. Conversion works on one image or a batch of 50, and reads formats browsers normally refuse, including HEIC from iPhones and TIFF from scanners.
For shaping images there are resize, crop, rotate and flip, a social media resizer that produces 22 platform sizes in one pass, and a splitter that cuts an image into a grid. For creating, there is a collage maker, a sprite sheet generator and a favicon generator. For everything else, there is a watermark tool, an AI background remover, a bulk renamer, an EXIF metadata viewer and a color palette extractor.

Privacy is not a feature here, it is the architecture
There is no upload step to opt out of. Images are read with the browser's file APIs, drawn on a canvas and written back out, which is why the tools work offline once the page has loaded and why there is no daily limit.
Re-encoding also strips EXIF metadata, including camera details and GPS coordinates, so a compressed or converted photo no longer carries the location where it was taken. If you want to check what a file contains before sharing it, the metadata viewer shows every field and can save a clean copy.
Getting a good result
Two settings do most of the work: dimensions and quality, and dimensions matter more. Halving the width of a photo removes three quarters of its pixels, which usually beats any quality slider. Resize first, then compress.
Format matters next. WebP is normally the smallest for the web and keeps transparency, JPEG is the most compatible for photos, and PNG is the right choice for screenshots, logos and anything with sharp text or thin lines.

Are my images uploaded?
No. Every tool decodes and re-encodes images in your browser.
How many images can I process at once?
Up to 50 per batch in the bulk tools, and up to 200 files in the bulk renamer.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, AVIF, HEIC and SVG as input; JPG, PNG and WebP as output, plus ICO for favicons.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Large batches and background removal are faster on a computer, but everything works in a mobile browser.
Is EXIF data removed?
Any tool that re-encodes an image drops EXIF. The metadata viewer can also produce a clean copy without re-encoding JPEG and PNG.
Is there a watermark on the output?
No. Nothing is added to your images unless you use the watermark tool yourself.
